Job Title: Civil Engineer – Residential Projects

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer with proven experience in residential building construction. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling site execution, contractor coordination, quality control, and ensuring project timelines and budgets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day construction activities at residential project sites (villas, apartments, gated communities).
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings and ensure adherence to specifications.
• Supervise site labor, subcontractors, and ensure adherence to work schedules.
• Monitor quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with local municipal regulations and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare daily progress reports, and highlight issues.
• Estimate material requirements and maintain proper inventory at the site.
• Manage contractor billing and measurement sheets.
• Handle snag lists and ensure timely project handover.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in residential construction (independent houses, villas).
• Proficient in reading architectural and structural drawings.
• Good understanding of RCC work, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing.
• Familiar with project management tools like MS Project, Excel, or ERP.
• Excellent site supervision and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of construction quality and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Diploma holders with solid experience can be considered).
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in residential construction.
• Fluency in local language preferred for site communication.
