Storekeeper - Dry Fruits cold storage

ProV Foods is an integrated healthy foods conglomerate based in Mumbai, specializing in dry fruits and staples. Every ProV product undergoes stringent quality controls to ensure the highest quality natural produce reaches our customers.

We are looking for a storekeeper for managing our dry fruits cold storage inward/ outward and inventory mangement.

Responsible for managing day-to-day operations of cold storage including product inwarding, dispatch/outward, inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and documentation. Ensures all materials are handled safely and stored at the right temperature, maintaining quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inward Management

• Receive incoming goods as per PO/GRN.
• Verify quantity, quality, batch/lot number, expiry, and temperature.
• Coordinate unloading, palletisation, and storage in the correct temperature zone.
• Update inward entries in FMS.
• Report any discrepancies or damages immediately.

2. Outward / Dispatch Management

• Pick and prepare orders as per FIFO/FEFO.
• Check order accuracy, packaging condition, and temperature before dispatch.
• Coordinate with transporters for timely dispatch.
• Generate delivery challans, e-way bills (if required), and outward entries in system.

3. Inventory Control

• Maintain daily stock levels with 100% accuracy.
• Conduct regular cycle counts & monthly physical stock audits.
• Ensure correct stacking, labelling, segregation of SKUs/batches.
• Track slow-moving, near-expiry, and damaged stock.
• Implement FIFO/FEFO to reduce wastage and maintain freshness.

4. Cold Storage Operations

• Monitor temperature/humidity and ensure products are stored as per standards.
• Take corrective action during deviations (temperature fluctuations, breakdowns).
• Maintain hygiene and safety standards within the cold room.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain GRN, DNs, stock reports, temperature logs, and audit records.
• Coordinate with QA for sampling, QC checks, and product release.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI norms when handling food products.
• Share daily MIS reports with the operations team.

6. Coordination

• Work with procurement, sales, warehouse operators, QA, and transport vendors.
• Plan inward/outward schedules to avoid congestion and delays.

Skills Required

• Experience in cold storage / warehousing / food FMCG logistics
• Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, batch management
• ERP or WMS operating skills
• Basic data entry & Excel
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Understanding of temperature-controlled supply chain
• Team coordination & communication skills

✅ Qualifications

• Minimum: HSC/Graduate
• Preferred: Diploma in Supply Chain / Logistics
• Experience: 1–5 years in warehouse or cold storage operation

This opening is for our shop which is at APMC Market, Vashi. Candidates from Navi Mumbai and those who can join immediately shall be preferred.
