Store Operations Specialist

Purpose/Objective

The Associate Manager in Techno-Commercial at Adani Thermal power plant in Dahanu plays a pivotal role in overseeing the store operations with a focus on both technical and commercial aspects. The role requires a professional with a strong background in Thermal power plant industry and a minimum of 7 years of experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, optimizing costs, and ensuring smooth operations of the store while adhering to Adani's core values and fostering a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Develop and implement effective store management strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs - Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract management - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all store operations - Coordinate with internal teams to forecast demand and ensure adequate stock levels - Supervise store personnel, provide guidance and training, and conduct performance evaluations - Analyze store performance metrics, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management - Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance overall efficiency - Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, contractors, and internal departments - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Thermal power plant industry - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field - MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant discipline (preferred)
