Store Manager

We are looking for an experienced Store Manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering, logistics management, and machinery handling. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring efficient material management, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting smooth logistics and machinery-related operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage overall store operations including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, spare parts, and equipment.

Develop and maintain proper inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Oversee stock levels, conduct periodic stock audits, and minimize material wastage or shortages.

Coordinate with the purchase, operations, and maintenance teams to ensure timely availability of required materials and machinery parts.

Supervise logistics activities including inward and outward movement of goods, transportation, and documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety, security, and company policies within the store.

Maintain proper documentation and records related to inventory, GRN, material requisition, and dispatch.

Manage manpower in the store, assign duties, and ensure productivity.

Monitor machinery-related spare parts and consumables and ensure their availability for smooth operations.

Implement best practices in warehouse management, logistics, and machinery handling.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

7–9 years of experience in store management, inventory control, logistics, and machinery knowledge.

Strong knowledge of handling spare parts, heavy equipment, and machinery components.

Proficiency in logistics planning and coordination.

Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Preferred Background

Candidates from a mechanical background with proven experience in managing stores and logistics in manufacturing, construction, or heavy equipment industries.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
