About the role
The Warehouse & Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse and store operations, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining optimum inventory levels, and managing vendor relationships. This role involves procurement planning, vendor negotiations, logistics coordination, and team leadership to ensure cost-effective and timely availability of materials that support smooth business operations.
Responsibilities
Warehouse & Store Management
● Manage daily warehouse and store operations efficiently and in full compliance with company SOPs.● Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of materials.● Conduct periodic inventory audits and implement corrective actions to minimize discrepancies.● Ensure proper storage, handling, and safety standards across warehouse operations. Procurement & Vendor Management● Handle the end-to-end vendor management process including vendor identification, evaluation, onboarding, and performance monitoring.● Conduct price, rate, and term negotiations to achieve cost savings and maintain quality compliance.● Plan and execute purchase forecasts and projections to maintain optimum stock levels. ● Monitor and manage short supply or critical stock situations to prevent disruptions. Logistics & Coordination● Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure smooth material flow and timely deliveries.● Collaborate with logistics partners for effective transportation management and cost optimization. Compliance & Documentation● Ensure proper documentation, record-keeping, and adherence to company policies and audit standards.● Develop, implement, and update SOPs for warehouse and procurement functions. Team Leadership● Lead, train, and supervise store executives and warehouse staff to ensure high operational performance.● Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the team.
Requirement
● Good understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.● Basic knowledge of procurement processes and vendor coordination.● Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.● Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.● Education Graduation in any field● Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse, store, or procurement operations.● Male candidate is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
