Store Manager Liquor Store

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

• Manage end-to-end liquor store operations for smooth and efficient functioning.
  
• Maintain premium brand standards in product display, hygiene, and customer ambience.
  
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational guidelines, and compliance-driven practices.
  
• Implement proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) while preventing pilferage, wastage, and stock discrepancies.
  

2. Sales & Customer Service

• Drive sales to achieve store revenue targets consistently.
  
• Deliver superior customer service with a focus on upselling and cross-selling liquor categories.
  
• Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure a premium shopping experience.
  
• Plan and execute in-store promotions, tastings, and brand activation events.
  

3. Compliance & Legal

• Ensure strict compliance with excise laws, liquor license norms, and statutory regulations.
  
• Monitor staff adherence to age-verification and responsible liquor sale practices.
  
• Maintain and submit accurate excise and statutory reports as per legal requirements.
  

4. Inventory & Stock Management

• Supervise receipt, secure storage, and compliant display of stock.
  
• Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and minimize shrinkage.
  
• Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and warehouse teams for timely replenishment.
  

5. Team Management

• Recruit, train, and lead store staff for operational excellence.
  
• Manage shift schedules, attendance, and maintain discipline.
  
• Set performance goals, conduct appraisals, and provide continuous coaching.
  

6. Reporting & Analysis

• Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales and inventory reports.
  
• Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and recommend growth strategies.
  
• Share market insights and store performance updates with higher management.
