Key Responsibilities 1. Store Operations Manage end-to-end liquor store operations for smooth and efficient functioning. Maintain premium brand standards in product display, hygiene, and customer ambience. Ensure adherence to company SOPs, operational guidelines, and compliance-driven practices. Implement proper stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO) while preventing pilferage, wastage, and stock discrepancies. 2. Sales & Customer Service Drive sales to achieve store revenue targets consistently. Deliver superior customer service with a focus on upselling and cross-selling liquor categories. Handle customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure a premium shopping experience. Plan and execute in-store promotions, tastings, and brand activation events. 3. Compliance & Legal Ensure strict compliance with excise laws, liquor license norms, and statutory regulations. Monitor staff adherence to age-verification and responsible liquor sale practices. Maintain and submit accurate excise and statutory reports as per legal requirements. 4. Inventory & Stock Management Supervise receipt, secure storage, and compliant display of stock. Conduct regular stock audits, reconciliations, and minimize shrinkage. Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and warehouse teams for timely replenishment. 5. Team Management Recruit, train, and lead store staff for operational excellence. Manage shift schedules, attendance, and maintain discipline. Set performance goals, conduct appraisals, and provide continuous coaching. 6. Reporting & Analysis Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales and inventory reports. Analyze sales trends, customer preferences, and recommend growth strategies. Share market insights and store performance updates with higher management. Key Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and customer-handling skills. In-depth knowledge of IMFL, international liquor brands, country liquor, and Indian liquor categories . Strong understanding of liquor retail compliance, excise rules, and license requirements. Sales-driven mindset with analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in cash handling, billing systems, and reconciliations.
