Store Keeper

Role Overview: You will be a reliable and detail-oriented Store Keeper responsible for managing inventory, maintaining store records, and ensuring the smooth operation of the store/warehouse. Your excellent organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be crucial for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Inventory Management: Oversee all inventory management tasks to ensure accurate stock levels, proper storage, and efficient retrieval. - Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes. - Storage and Organization: Arrange for materials to be stored in appropriate places, ensuring safe keeping of quality and quantity. - Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and adjustments. - Stock Control: Implement and manage inventory control procedures, including stock replenishment and order recommendations. - Supervision and Training: Provide guidance and support by supervising and training other storekeepers. - Safety and Security: Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols related to storage and handling of materials. - Inventory Audits: Conduct periodic and physical inventories, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring accuracy. - Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in inventory or operations. - Communication: Effectively communicate with suppliers, other departments, and stakeholders regarding inventory and operations. Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Store Keeper or similar role. - Knowledge of inventory management and control procedures. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication and interpersonal skills.
