Store Keeper

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Store Keeper with a D.Pharm or B.Pharm background to manage pharmaceutical inventory, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and maintain the integrity of storage conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, handling procedures, and inventory management systems. Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record incoming pharmaceutical products, ensuring batch numbers, expiry dates, and quantity match purchase orders. Store medicines and materials under proper conditions as per GMP , GDP , and regulatory guidelines . Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/WMS software . Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement for replenishments. Ensure FEFO / FIFO inventory principles are strictly followed. Prepare and dispatch orders as per requirement, maintaining documentation for traceability. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies. Ensure storage areas are clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety standards . Maintain documentation for cold chain products and monitor temperature logs. Coordinate with the Quality Control/Assurance team for product recalls or quarantines. Assist during regulatory audits and inspections. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) – mandatory. Minimum 1 –4 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical inventory/storekeeping. Sound knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations , including GMP and GDP. Proficiency in using inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Good understanding of product classification (narcotics, antibiotics, etc.). Attention to detail, strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
