The Store In‑Charge oversees daily café operations—staff, inventory, customer satisfaction, and financial performance. They ensure a smooth, efficient, and profitable café environment. 🔧 Key Responsibilities Supervise and schedule café staff (baristas, waiters, clean‑up crew), including recruiting, training, and performance feedback Track inventory and place orders for coffee, ingredients, disposables, and cleaning supplies Manage cash and POS systems: deposits, reconciliation, financial reporting Maintain café cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety regulations Handle customer service: address complaints professionally and ensure a high-quality experience Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profit; propose strategies to meet targets and control costs betterteam.com+6resources.workable.com+6expertia.ai+6 Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely delivery and optimal supply quality expertia Develop and implement promotions and seasonal menu additions Prepare regular reports (sales performance, inventory, staff) for senior management 🎓 Qualifications & Experience Diploma or degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field preferred expertia 2–4 years of experience in café/food service/retail operations, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role Proven leadership and team management skills Familiarity with POS and inventory management systems; solid numerical aptitude expertia Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards; food handler certification is a plus 🛠️ SkillsStaff leadership & scheduling Inventory control and vendor liaison Customer service excellence & conflict resolution Cash handling and basic financial analysis Marketing, promotion execution, and menu innovation Compliance with health & safety regulations Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office ✅ Metrics of Success (KPIs)Achieve daily/weekly sales targets and budget conformity Maintain ideal stock levels and minimize wastage High customer satisfaction and positive feedback Staff availability and retention Successful execution of promotions with measurable results ⏰ Working Conditions Shifts may include weekends, holidays, early mornings, and evenings Physical tasks: lifting supplies, maintaining café areas Direct customer interaction and hands-on café operations Neea a cafe Incharge for our coffee shop.Minimum 2-3 years experience in food and beverage industry.
