To oversee and manage all material-related operations for EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) solar projects, ensuring timely availability, accurate tracking, and safe handling of solar components and BOS items to support smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inventory & Material Management
Maintain and monitor stock levels of EPC solar materials including modules, inverters, MMS (Module Mounting Structures), cables, junction boxes, fasteners, earthing materials, and other BOS components.
Ensure efficient storage layout and adherence to manufacturer guidelines for sensitive components like solar modules and inverters.
Conduct routine stock audits, cycle counts, and reconcile physical stock with ERP/Project inventory records.
2. Material Receiving & Inspection
Receive all incoming materials as per purchase orders and delivery challans.
Conduct quality & quantity checks in coordination with QA/QC teams.
Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note), MRN, and all necessary receiving documents.
3. Material Issuance & Tracking
Issue materials strictly based on approved material requisitions from site engineers.
Track material usage per work area/contractor and maintain consumption reports.
Maintain documentation for returnable and non-returnable items from contractors.
4. Coordination & Logistics Support
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, vendors, and transporters for timely delivery of materials.
Provide material requirement updates to Project Managers for planning and execution.
Support the logistics team in unloading, storage planning, and internal movement at site.
5. Documentation & Compliance
Maintain an up-to-date inventory register, stock ledger, and site store documentation.
Ensure documentation compliance for audits (internal/external) and client requirements.
Manage warranty claims, damaged material reports, and replacements.
6. Safety & Housekeeping
Implement safe storage and handling practices for solar modules, electrical items, and heavy materials.
Ensure compliance with HSE standards at all times.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free store area.
Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Logistics, or relevant field.
2–6 years of experience in store management in EPC or infrastructure projects; solar EPC experience preferred.
Strong understanding of solar materials and EPC documentation.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or project inventory tools).
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
Strong coordination and communication abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
