Store In-charge

Job Title: Store In-ChargeDepartment: Stores / Inventory / OperationsReports To: Operations Manager / Plant Head / Store ManagerJob Summary

The Store In-Charge is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations including inventory control, material receipt and dispatch, stock accuracy, documentation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient store functioning.

Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials, finished goods, and consumables
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and identification of materials
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and initiate replenishment
• Conduct regular stock audits and physical verification

Material Receipt & Dispatch

• Receive materials as per purchase orders and verify quantity & quality
• Coordinate inward and outward movement of materials
• Ensure timely dispatch of materials to production, sites, or customers
• Maintain GRN, delivery challans, and dispatch records

Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain all store-related documentation and registers
• Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements
• Coordinate with finance/accounts for stock reconciliation

Coordination & Supervision

• Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and sales teams
• Supervise store assistants/helpers and allocate daily tasks
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards in the store

Process Improvement

• Identify gaps and suggest improvements for store operations
• Implement inventory control best practices

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of inventory management & store operations
• Good documentation and reporting skills
• Basic computer skills (Excel, ERP/SAP preferred)
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage manpower and multitask

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
