Experience: 10+ years in store management within the EPC / Industrial / Infrastructure sector.

Reporting To: Project Manager / Project Director / Site In-Charge

Role Summary:

The Store In-Charge will be responsible for managing all site-level material handling, storage, inventory control, and documentation activities for the EPC project. The role ensures smooth material flow between procurement, vendors, and project execution teams while maintaining compliance with company and client procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain records of all material receipts, issues, and returns at the project site.
• Ensure proper unloading, identification, inspection, and safe storage of incoming materials.
• Maintain minimum stock levels and track material consumption in coordination with the site execution team.
• Prepare and update Material Receipt Notes (MRN), Goods Issue Notes (GIN), and daily inventory reports.
• Coordinate with the Procurement, Dispatch, and Accounts teams for material reconciliation and billing support.
• Conduct periodic stock verification and ensure physical stock matches with system records.
• Monitor and maintain storage conditions as per material specifications and safety norms.
• Manage tools, tackles, consumables, and returned items efficiently.
• Support project closure activities through final material reconciliation reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Civil Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

Preferred Certifications:

• SAP / ERP Material Management Module training or certification.
• Inventory Management or Warehouse Operations certification from a recognized institute.
• Safety and Material Handling certification (optional but preferred).

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and documentation.
• Familiarity with EPC site operations and material flow processes.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP tools (SAP).
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational abilities.
• Awareness of safety standards and material preservation practices.
