Store Executive

Job Purpose:

To manage and maintain inventory, ensure accurate stock records, handle material inward/outward movement, and support day-to-day store operations in alignment with company standards and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software (physical vs. system).
• Issue materials to departments as per indent/requisition.
• Conduct periodic stock audits and cycle counts.
• Ensure proper storage, tagging, and identification of materials.
• Coordinate with purchase and accounts for GRN, invoice, and documentation.
• Monitor stock levels and raise alerts for reordering.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and FIFO (First In First Out) in the store area.
• Prepare and submit stock reports and inventory summaries to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in material handling.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
• Hands-on experience with store management software/ERP.
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Knowledge of safety practices in material handling.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (Preferred: Logistics / Supply Chain / Commerce)
• Experience: 1–3 years in a similar store/inventory control role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
