Job Description

Job Title: Store & Purchase Assistant

Location: Vasai East, Maharashtra

Industry: Metal Manufacturing

Experience Required: Minimum 2years

Salary Offered: ₹18,000 – ₹20,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Store & Purchase Assistant to support our store and procurement operations. The candidate will assist in managing inventory, maintaining records, handling purchase orders, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day store operations including material receiving, issuing, and record maintenance.
Prepare and maintain stock registers and inventory reports.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely purchase and delivery of materials.
Create purchase orders and follow up on pending deliveries.
Maintain proper documentation of GRN, purchase bills, and invoices.
Ensure material storage and handling as per company standards.
Support audit and stock verification activities.
Maintain data and reports using MS Excel.
Coordinate with the accounts and production departments for material and purchase-related updates.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of MS Excel (data entry, VLOOKUP, basic formulas, etc.)
Good communication and coordination skills.
Basic knowledge of purchase and store procedures.
Attention to detail and good record-keeping habits.

Qualification:

Graduate in Commerce or any relevant field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in store and purchase department (preferably in metal manufacturing industry).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
