Location: Vasai, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Experience: Minimum 3 years in manufacturing industry
Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering

Job Description:

We are looking for a Quality Control (QC) Engineer with 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry. The candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection, audit handling, and leading a small QC team. The person should be capable of maintaining product quality as per company standards and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process, incoming, and final inspection of products
• Lead a small quality control team on the shop floor
• Maintain quality reports and inspection records
• Handle internal and external audits (ISO, customer audits, etc.)
• Prepare and maintain Quality Control documents like control plans, check sheets, and inspection reports
• Ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications
• Identify and report quality issues and take corrective actions
• Maintain clean and safe work environment in QC area

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in QC department of a manufacturing company
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection tools and techniques
• Experience in handling audits and documentation
• Leadership skills to guide and manage junior QC staff
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, Word)

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 systems
• Knowledge of 5S and Kaizen
• Problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA, 5 Why, Fishbone)
• Good communication and team coordination
