Job Title: Staff Cook We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to cater to diverse dietary needs. The Staff Cook will be responsible for preparing daily meals for our employees, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and managing inventory. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook daily meals for staff, ensuring variety and nutritional balance. Plan menus in collaboration with management, considering dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted meal service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food storage and handling. Receive and inspect deliveries, ensuring quality and quantity match orders. Manage waste and implement cost-effective measures to minimize food wastage. Requirements Proven experience as a cook or in a similar role. Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances. Understanding of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
