Sr.Draftsman

Looking for a skilled and experienced Engineering Draftsman with a strong background in 3D drafting, design, and modeling using tools like AutoCAD, Inventor, and E3D. The ideal candidate will have a BTech in Mechanical Engineering and 4to5 years of project experience, preferably in industrial or oil and gas sectors. 

The Engineering Draftsman will be responsible for creating and updating detailed engineering drawings, models, and designs, ensuring that they align with project specifications and meet industry 

standards.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications

Experience

and gas, industrial, or construction sectors. 

Technical Skills

o Proficiency in 3D drafting and modeling software such as AutoCAD 3D, Autodesk Inventor, and E3D. 

o Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies. 

o Understanding of engineering drawing standards, including GD&T 

(Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), and experience in creating 

detailed mechanical drawings. 

o Familiarity with P&IDs, isometric drawings, and structural or piping layouts. 

o Experience with document management and version control systems. 

Soft Skills

o Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation. 

o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 

o Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple 

tasks simultaneously. 

o Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex design concepts into 

clear drawings. 

Certifications (Optional)

o Certification in AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar design tools would be a plus. 

Preferred Qualifications:

∙Previous experience in the oil and gas industry or large-scale industrial projects. 

∙Knowledge of 3D design software for piping systems and plant design (e.g., E3D or 

PDMS). 

∙Familiarity with fabrication and construction processes related to mechanical 

engineering designs.
