Sr UX Designer (GIS/ SaaS)

Responsibilities:

1. Own high level product ideas from conception through execution, across web and mobile.
2. Improve product strategy and metrics, and work collaboratively with engineering and operations to achieve goals.
3. Define a standard for User Experience based on minimalism.
4. Perform Customer research and stakeholder interviews to create detailed customer personas which will drive design system and methodology
5. Ensure design decisions are backed by customer research, user psychology, UX principles and trends and data.
6. Creating high fidelity prototypes which can be presented directly to the customers to gain valuable feedback before investing in the development.
7. Ability to use analytics tools such as hotjar, Google Analytics, Amplitude and survey tools to understand the engagement of users with the live product and improve designs to boost the product KPIs
8. Ensure product testing as a part of UAT before every release to ensure pixel perfect delivery.
9. Plan concepts for design assets by studying relevant information and materials related to geospatial, and AI agents.
10. Illustrate concepts by designing digital assets for social media, blog and other channels with attention to visual aesthetic, art arrangement, size, type, color layout as per branding practices, size and style.

Good to have:

1. Bachelor's / Master's degree in design, HCI or equivalent professional experience.
2. Minimum 5 years of work experience in Product UX design along with at least 2 years experience in conducting user research through interviews, heatmaps and surveys.
3. Prior exposure to Entrepreneurship or early stage startup experience
4. Proficient in design tools like - Figma, Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator
5. Good knowledge of HTML 5/ CSS3 and CSS frameworks to check for design bugs during release testing
6. Experience of working with usability research tools.
7. Aptitude & honed intuition for tasteful visual design details.
8. Ability to research trends in the market for a seamless user experience.
9. A strong awareness of common usability methods & principles.
10. Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal & analytical skills
11. Ability to work methodically & meet deadlines.
