Sr. Software Test Engineer

1. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance and test Lead Roles

2. Experience with Agile and DevOps practices and methodologies and Manage the execution of manual testing activities, including functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing

3. Hands-on experience using Postman for API testing, Security Testing, Apache JMeter with Selenium for Performance testing, JIRA/Rally or other tools as the defect and task-tracking tool

4. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation, such as Java, Python, or JavaScript and Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks.

5. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams 6. Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and services on time and within budget Preferred

Job Description:

1. Proven experience in QA Test Management, overseeing the entire testing lifecycle Leading teams and the entire project starting from scope, planning, execution, support, and the closure of the project in Testing.

2. Work closely with Program/Project Managers in managing test scope, cost and effort estimations, risks handling and periodically report the progress, challenges, possible solutions etc. to the senior management.

3. Expertise in test planning, execution, and defect management and handling the QA team in executing the full software testing life cycle

4. Performing risk assessments and producing Test documentation e.g., Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scripts, and other related items aligned with Workday Methodologies.

5. Preparing and executing Testing for Project & BAU fixes/changes, to ensure they are completed in accordance with the Global Test Strategy Developing, Executing & Maintaining Manual and Automated scripts in the existing tool.

6. Responsible for entire E2E testing life cycle of the country rollout / BAU – For the entry and exit checklist of Unit Test, SIT/E2E, Vulnerability, Regression and UAT until the Sign off each phase.

7. Accountable for maintaining up to date testing documentation and Able to communicate complex issues in a digestible form (to both Business & Technical teams)

8. Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members on testing best practices, tools, and techniques

9. Track and prioritize defects found during testing using defect tracking tools and drive to timely resolution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
