As a Software Test Engineer at Pulse Solutions, you will be responsible for functional testing on applications developed by the web, mobile, games, and e-commerce programming teams. Your role will involve building test cases for web and mobile applications, executing test plans manually or through automated testing routines, and creating automation scripts. You will also be expected to communicate about bugs via bug tracking systems, ensure high-quality standards, find usability problems, and report bugs to the development team. Key Responsibilities: - Building test cases for web and mobile applications - Executing test plans manually and/or building automated testing routines - Creating automation scripts - Communicating about bugs via bug tracking systems - Ensuring high-quality standards including functionality and code quality - Finding high-level usability problems in navigation, workflow, and reporting - Reporting bugs in the bug tracking tool and assigning them to the development team - Exposure to frameworks such as TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalent BDD frameworks Qualifications Required: - 4-6 years of experience in QA/Manual as well as Automation testing - Experience with websites/web applications testing and implementing test automation using Selenium, Appium, and JAVA, TestNG, Maven - Ability to create and maintain automation framework independently - Working experience on APIs and web services automation (SOAP & REST) - Experience working in Agile methodologies - Good understanding of SDLC Process - Expertise in building test cases - Proficiency in Functional Testing - Experience in Requirements Analysis - Mobile Automation experience is a plus - Good English communication skills This position offers immense potential for growth and provides the freedom to work in your preferred style.
