Job Description

Job Summary As a Sr. Software Engineer B2 you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications using Angular JS and Javascript. You will work in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain contributing to innovative solutions that enhance business processes. This hybrid role requires a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 10 years of experience with a focus on day shifts. Responsibilities Develop and maintain software applications using Angular JS and Javascript to ensure high performance and responsiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features that meet business requirements. Provide technical expertise and guidance in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain to ensure solutions are aligned with industry standards. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues in a timely manner to minimize impact on business operations. Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to ensure timely delivery of features. Create and maintain technical documentation to support software development and maintenance activities. Implement unit tests and integration tests to ensure software reliability and stability. Optimize application performance and scalability to handle increasing user loads and data volumes. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development practices. Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements. Mentor junior developers and provide guidance to help them grow their technical skills and knowledge. Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Qualifications Possess strong experience in Angular JS and Javascript demonstrating proficiency in developing complex applications. Have a solid understanding of the Property & Casualty Insurance domain with experience in developing solutions for this industry. Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively. Exhibit strong collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Show proficiency in agile development methodologies and practices ensuring timely delivery of features. Have experience in conducting code reviews and providing constructive feedback to maintain code quality. Display strong communication skills both written and verbal to effectively convey technical information. Demonstrate the ability to mentor junior developers and provide guidance for their professional growth. Possess knowledge of security and regulatory requirements in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain. Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends and technologies. Have experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation to support development activities. Exhibit strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
