Sr. Software Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our growing team supporting advanced digital solutions in the Exploration & Production (E&P) domain. This role offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-grade applications used by global E&P customers, with a strong focus on automation, cloud technologies, and user-centric design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Development: Build and enhance scalable, global applications with modern frameworks and technologies.
• User Experience: Shape intuitive and high-performance UI/UX for enterprise-level E&P software users.
• Automation: Develop CI/CD pipelines to support seamless deployment and updates across platforms.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor production environments and resolve incidents with minimal downtime.
• Data Security: Implement robust security measures to ensure regulatory compliance and data protection.
• Documentation: Maintain clear documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Proficient in Node.js and Angular.
• Strong experience with Database technologies (both RDBMS and NoSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, including managed services (e.g., RDS, messaging, serverless computing).
• Working knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience in or familiarity with the GIS domain is desirable.
• Prior exposure to E&P data types (Well, Seismic, Production) is a strong plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Passionate about learning and implementing new technologies.
• Strong team player with good communication skills.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
