About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Software Development Team Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for guiding a talented development team in the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will lead by example, manage day-to-day team activities, and ensure that project goals and deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor an Agile development team to deliver software products, enhancements, and fixes.
• Work collaboratively with Product Owners, Developers, QAs, and Architects.
• Provide technical leadership, remove impediments, and ensure team productivity.
• Participate actively in hands-on software development.
• Manage day-to-day team operations and support the career development of team members.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends.
• Drive continuous improvement in software development best practices and processes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in software development with complex applications.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture.
• Solid experience with Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Docker, Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Web technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, NodeJS, REST APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead distributed teams across different geographies.
• Self-motivated and collaborative team player.
• Willingness to mentor and support junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in implementing unit testing and software design patterns.
• Exposure to advanced software development techniques.
