Job Description

Department: Sales & Marketing

Industry: FMCG

The Sales Executive will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market presence, managing distributor and retailer relationships, and ensuring effective product availability and visibility in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for the assigned area
  • Appoint, manage, and coordinate with distributors and retailers
  • Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and merchandising in outlets
  • Conduct regular market visits and beat planning
  • Execute company sales schemes and promotional activities
  • Collect market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and consumer trends
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments
  • Maintain daily sales reports, DSR, and MIS
  • Handle retailer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Good knowledge of FMCG distribution and retail network
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
  • Experience:
    • 13 years in FMCG sales (preferred)

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Experience in general trade (GT)
  • Local market knowledge
