About the Role

Bank of Baroda is looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Officer to join our Retail Banking team. The role involves acquiring new customers, promoting banking products, and contributing to business growth while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, acquire, and onboard new customers for various Bank of Baroda products (Savings Accounts, Current Accounts, Loans, Credit Cards, Insurance, etc.).
• Achieve monthly sales targets set by the branch/management.
• Promote and cross-sell banking products by understanding customer needs.
• Conduct field visits and follow-up meetings with potential clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business.
• Generate leads through cold calls, referrals, and local marketing initiatives.
• Provide accurate product information and assist customers with documentation.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies, KYC/AML guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and update the CRM system.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum qualification: Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Business/Finance/Marketing).
• Fresher in sales, banking, microfinance, or financial services.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, CRM tools).
• strong level of integrity, customer focus, and result-oriented attitude.
