Job Description

1. Role Overview

The Sales Coordinator / Inside Sales Executive will be responsible for managing service-related enquiries, customer complaints, AMC/O&M coordination, MIS reporting, vendor follow-ups, and revenue generation through chemicals, consumables and service activities. This role acts as the primary communication bridge between vendors, and internal departments.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Customer Handling Inbound Calls & Complaints

- Attend inbound sales calls, emails, and customer queries.

- Register Inbound Inquiry and allocate them to Sales Persons.

- Track and ensure timely lead update in CRM

- Track and ensure timely resolution of complaints.

- Maintain high customer satisfaction and service quality standards.

B. Inside Sales & Revenue Generation

- Promote and sell service chemicals, consumables, spare parts, and accessories.

- Generate leads for AMC and O&M services.

- Share quotations, follow up for orders, and assist in finalisation.

- Upsell additional value-added services to existing customers.

C. Coordination with Internal Teams

- Coordinate with service engineers for scheduling, visit planning, and material requirements.

- Work closely with Stores, Accounts, and Logistics for dispatches and documentation.

- Ensure timely delivery of spares, consumables, and chemicals to customer sites.

D. Vendor Management & Follow-up

- Regular follow-up with vendors for purchase orders, pending materials, and delivery updates.

- Maintain vendor database and track performance.

- Coordinate for service subcontractors when required.

E. MIS Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain detailed records of Inbound calls/service calls, complaints, and visit reports.

- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.

- Track AMC & O&M agreements, renewal dates, and billing schedules.

- Manage CRM

F. Payment Follow-up

- Send invoices to customers and follow up for payments.

- Coordinate with Accounts & Finance for reconciliation.

3. Skills & Competencies

- Strong communication and customer handling skills.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and MIS reporting.

- Ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple teams.

- Knowledge of STP/ETP industry or technical products (preferred).

- Negotiation & follow-up skills.

- Problem-solving attitude.

4. Qualification & Experience

- Graduate/Post Graduate in any discipline.
