As we expand our innovation capabilities, we’re looking for a Senior R&D Formulation Manager to drive excellence in product development and innovation.

📍 Role: Senior R&D Manager – Formulations

📌 Location: Gurgaon (On-site)

🕓 Experience: 8–15 years in cosmetic or personal care formulation

Key Responsibilities (KRAs):

Advanced Formulation Development

• Lead the formulation of high-performance, next-gen products across

  haircare, skincare, and cosmetics

  , with a focus on

  clean, vegan, and dermatologically tested solutions

• Create differentiated product textures, sensorial profiles, and delivery systems tailored to Indian and global markets

Ingredient Innovation & Tech Scouting

• Continuously scout and evaluate

  new-age ingredients

  such as

  biomimetic actives, encapsulated molecules, and green chemistry-based components

• Build and maintain strong supplier and raw material partner networks to gain early access to breakthrough innovations

Performance Validation & Clinical Backing

• Design testing protocols for

  efficacy validation

• Collaborate with labs for

  clinical testing, patch testing, dermatological approval

  , and consumer panel studies

Scale-Up, Trials & Tech Transfer

• Work with internal manufacturing and third-party units to conduct

  lab-to-pilot-to-commercial scale-up

• Troubleshoot production challenges related to

  viscosity, texture stability, pH, and ingredient interaction

Stability, Sensory & Safety Testing

• Plan and monitor

  accelerated and real-time stability studies

  , packaging compatibility, and microbial testing
• Ensure products are safe, long-lasting, and retain efficacy through shelf life

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Marketing, Packaging, Branding, and Sourcing teams to co-develop product concepts, USPs, and claims
• Support GTM by providing training modules, ingredient stories, and compelling product narratives for sales and education teams

Documentation & Innovation Pipeline

• Own technical documentation including

  MSDS, COA, PIF, TDS, Formulation Sheets

  , and formulation IP
• Build and maintain a future-facing innovation pipeline based on

  global trend analysis, consumer insights, and sustainability imperatives
