Sr. Quality Engineer

As a Senior Quality Engineer, your role will involve designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions. You will be responsible for reviewing system requirements, creating detailed test plans, identifying and tracking bugs, performing regression testing, and developing testing processes to meet client needs. Additionally, you will need to stay updated with new testing tools and strategies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents for timely feedback - Creating detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases - Estimating, prioritizing, planning, and coordinating testing activities - Identifying, recording, documenting, and tracking bugs - Performing regression testing post bug resolution - Developing testing processes for new and existing products - Investigating non-conforming software causes and training users on solutions - Tracking quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts - Staying informed about new testing tools and strategies To excel in this role, you should possess: - Proven work experience in software quality assurance - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes - Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases - Hands-on experience in both white box and black box testing - Familiarity with SQL and scripting - Understanding of SDLC, STLC, QA processes, methodologies, and tools; Agile knowledge is advantageous - Expertise in end-to-end testing and various testing approaches - Strong manual testing skills and a willingness to learn new technologies - Creativity and innovation to enhance work efficiency and quality - Experience in implementing testing best practices and gaining support for changes from executives - Deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges This job offers a permanent position in Indore with a salary range between 8-10 LPA.,
