Job Description

  • ISO Compliance

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain documentation necessary for achieving and sustaining certifications (ISO, ASME, NB, CE Marking).
  • Coordinate certification audits (initial, surveillance, and recertification) with external auditors and certification bodies.
  • Conduct internal audits across departments to ensure compliance with ISO requirements and drive continual improvement.
  • Identify and close nonconformities arising from internal and external audits through Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Incoming Inspection

  • Oversee inspection and verification of incoming raw materials, components, and outsourced products.
  • Review supplier material documentation including Material Test Certificates (MTCs) to confirm compliance with project specifications, international standards, and purchase order requirements.
  • Analyze incoming inspection trends and initiate corrective actions for recurring issues.
  • In-Process Inspection

  • Supervise and guide inspectors in carrying out in-process inspections across various manufacturing/assembly stages including NDT, Welding & Special processes.
  • Approve critical process checkpoints and ensure process control plans are strictly followed.
  • Lead troubleshooting activities during process deviations or quality defects.
  • QC Document Verification

  • Review the Material Test Certificates (MTCs) for conformity with applicable ASTM, ASME, ISO, EN or customer-specific standards.
  • Prepare and submit the Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) index,WPS,PQR & WPQ and related documents to the customer as per project or contractual requirements.
  • Supplier Qualification

  • Plan, execute, and lead supplier quality audits and technical capability assessments.
  • Evaluate new and existing suppliers against qualification criteria based on ISO 9001 and customer-specific requirements. Work closely with Procurement and Engineering teams during supplier selection processes.
  • Procurement Support

  • Participate in procurement meetings to define quality clauses, specifications, and inspection requirements in purchase orders.
  • Review vendor data and quality plans to ensure supplier compliance prior to order confirmation.
  • Final Inspection and Dispatch Readiness

  • Conduct final inspections and pre-shipment verifications to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
  • Witness product testing (e.g., hydro testing, functional testing) and issue inspection release notes.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections when required and resolve non-conformance issues.
  • Onsite QC Checks

  • Perform in-process and final quality inspections at manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly sites. Conduct fit-up, welding, dimensional, surface finish, coating, and assembly inspections as per project requirements.
  • Report daily QC activities, findings, and progress to the Quality Manager and Project Management teams.
  • Nonconformance Report NCR Management

  • Review and verify nonconformity details submitted by inspection teams, production personnel, or customer feedback.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams (Ishikawa), or Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine the underlying cause of nonconformities
  • Business Partner

    Oversee the inspection and verification of incoming raw materials, components, and outsourced products to ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
  • Evaluate new and existing suppliers against defined qualification criteria based on ISO 9001 and specific project/customer requirements.
  • Act as the primary contact during customer site visits, inspections, and audits. Manage customer complaints and nonconformities through a structured root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action process.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer feedback for continual quality improvement.
  • Coordinate third-party inspections and certification activities in line with customer agreements.
  • Prepare and submit the Manufacturing Record Book (MRB) index and related documents to customers in line with contractual and project-specific requirements.
  • Audit compliance

  • Coordinate external audits conducted by regulatory bodies, certification agencies, or customers.
  • Prepare audit plans, ensure documentation readiness, facilitate audits, and drive timely closure of audit findings.
  • After-Sales Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product quality issues after delivery or installation.
  • Investigate customer complaints, warranty claims, and performance issues through structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Prepare and submit the Certificate of Conformance (COC) and Warranty Certificate to customers as per contractual and project requirements.
  • Cost of Poor Quality COPQ Monitoring

  • Identify and categorize COPQ into key areas: internal rework, scrap, warranty claims, customer returns, inspection and testing costs, and preventive activities.
  • Develop dashboards, metrics, and KPIs to visualize COPQ and related quality performance indicators for management reviews
