Service Engineer (Meggit Projects)

Responsibilities, authorities, and accountabilities:

• Performing installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Parker Meggitt Hardware and Software Products, including loop checks, system tests during start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance at customer locations.
• Assuring the service is executed promptly following the customer's schedule and contractual commitments.
• Preparation of job-planning documents based on the Assignments Scope of Work (Installation, Upgrade)
• Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor, performing work at customer sites, maintaining a strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within customer safety standards
• Identifying problems and taking the initiative to eliminate those problems for project/service success while monitoring site safety.
• Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future field service interventions promptly.
• Driving customer satisfaction through commitment to quality, supporting the growth initiatives of the business

• Experience in utilizing hand tools on machinery in a production environment.
• Experience in technical and customer service skills with direct client interaction.
• The ability to travel up to 80% of the time, including short-notice assignments, especially during peak seasons.
• The ability to work independently without direct supervision.
