Job Description

Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities:

  • Performing installations, commissioning, and trouble-shooting of Parker Meggitt Hardware and Software Products including loop checks, system tests during start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance at customer locations.
  • Assuring the service is executed in a timely manner in accordance with the customer's schedule and contractual commitments.
  • Preparation of job-planning documents based to Assignments Scope of Work (Installation, Upgrade)
  • Provide leadership and technical direction to skilled labor, performing work at customer sites, maintaining strong safety mindset to assure the executed work reflects the technical requirements within customer safety standards
  • Identifying problems and take the initiative to eliminate those problems for project/service success while monitoring site safety.
  • Prepare timely and accurate technical reports for customer records and a reference for future field service interventions in a timely manner.
  • Driving customer satisfaction through commitment to quality supporting growth initiatives of the business

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Experience in utilizing hand tools on machinery in a production environment.
  • Experience in technical and customer service skills with direct client interaction.
  • The ability to travel up to 80% of the time including short notice assignments especially during peak seasons.
  • The ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Solid problem-solving skills
