We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Purchase Executive / Senior Purchase Officer / Purchase Manager to join our team in Vapi, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in procurement, specifically within the construction or real estate industry. This role requires expertise in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing construction materials and other goods required for ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement and Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and source construction materials and equipment as per project requirements. Negotiate terms with suppliers and vendors for competitive pricing and quality.
• Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues related to delays or quality concerns.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of construction materials, ensuring stock availability while avoiding overstock situations. Regularly review inventory records and update as needed.
• Cost Management: Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure procurement costs align with project budgets and overall financial targets.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchases, supplier contracts, and payment documentation. Generate reports on procurement activities and costs for management review.
• Collaboration with Other Departments: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams to ensure timely and efficient material supply for projects.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards in all procurement activities.
• Vendor Evaluation: Conduct periodic evaluations of suppliers to assess performance, quality, and pricing. Seek alternative suppliers as needed to optimize procurement processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline, preferably in Engineering (B.E) or MBA (Material Management or Supply Chain).
• Work Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in the construction or real estate industry.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced level), MS Word, and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of procurement software and tools is an advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction materials, their sourcing, pricing, and logistics.
