The Role:

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Senior PPC Engineer to spearhead production planning, resource optimization, and workflow management. The role is essential to fulfill our valuable customer’s In-time delivery requirement. The Senior PPC Engineer will be responsible for planning and controlling production activities to meet customer demands efficiently. You will act as a key link between cross-functional teams to ensure timelines, costs, and quality standards align with organizational goals. Reporting to GM-Production, this position requires Effective communication, strong analytical skills, attention to detail. collaboration with cross functional team is essential for successful coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for in-time delivery of customers’ orders with desired Quality and Quantity.

· To review Sales order on daily basis and create production plans based on demand forecasts, considering available resources, capacity, and lead times.

· To Prepare a detailed production schedule, considering factors such as production capacity, material availability, and production lead times.

· Review and release Job order/Purchase requisition (PR) as per order priority and production needs on daily basis.

· Establish co-ordination (follow-up) matrix with your cross functional team (Quality, Procurement, Production, Testing & Sales) to insure intime material for dispatch.

· Monitor and track daily production progress, ensuring adherence to the production schedule.

· Collaborate with production, machine-shop, procurement, and inventory teams to resolve scheduling conflicts, material shortages, or capacity issues.

· Coordinate in written with sales (back office & application team) department before 1 week regarding order delay/reschedule order or any unexpected rejection to minimize customer grievances.

· Provide written quality feedback to concern person with predefined format for any delay/work quality issue to prevent future repeated problem.

· Consult your reporting manager immediately for any major issue expected to occurs which can cause delay in orders.

· Problem Solving: Strong aptitude for identifying and resolving production issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency.

· Inventory Management: Comprehensive understanding of inventory control practices to minimize waste and ensure material availability when needed.

Ensures precision in planning and execution, minimizing errors and disruptions in production.

Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, and sales.

What Makes You Our Perfect Match?

Experience:

· 3-5 years of experience in Production, Planning & Control (preferably in discrete type industry).

· Prior experience in handling team of 2-3 people.

Qualification:

· BE/BTech in Mechanical or Production Engineering

Knowledge:

· SAP/Oracle/ERP

· Advanced Excel

· Planning & Scheduling

Technology and Tool Expertise:

· MS-Excel

· Power Point

Physical Requirement:

· Can work 4-5 hours/day on computers
