Sr. OpenText xECM

Job Title: OpenText xECM Consultant (Non-SAP Environment)

Location: Remote,

Engagement: 4 Hrs/ day (Time flexible, Preferred Evening)

Duration: 3 months (renewable)

Job Purpose:

The OpenText xECM Consultant will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of OpenText xECM solutions in a non-SAP environment. The consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure effective content management, collaboration, and business process integration, leveraging the full capabilities of the OpenText platform.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and configure OpenText xECM solutions in non-SAP environments.

· Integrate xECM with business applications, workflows, and document repositories.

· Conduct requirement gathering workshops and translate business needs into technical designs.

· Develop, maintain, and optimize document management, workflow, and content lifecycle processes.

· Provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for xECM implementations.

· Collaborate with business users to ensure adoption, governance, and compliance with enterprise content standards.

· Assist in upgrades, migrations, and system performance optimization.

· Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and training materials.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Proven experience as an OpenText xECM Consultant in a non-SAP environment.

· Hands-on experience with xECM modules, document management, and workflow configuration.

· Knowledge of integration with third-party applications (e.g., SharePoint, Office 365, custom enterprise apps).

· Strong understanding of content lifecycle management, records management, and compliance standards.

· Experience in solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.

· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional project team.

Desirable Skills:

· Experience with OpenText AppWorks, Process Suite, or Capture modules.

· Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or web services for integration purposes.

· Familiarity with cloud-based xECM deployments (OpenText Cloud, AWS, Azure).

· Previous experience with non-SAP enterprise systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or custom ERPs.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

· OpenText certifications in xECM, AppWorks, or related modules preferred.
