Sr. Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete merchandising cycle from sample development to final dispatch.
• Coordinate with clients to understand requirements, approvals, branding guidelines, and order specifications.
• Prepare and finalize costing, quotations, fabric consumption sheets, and lead time plans.
• Work with fabric suppliers, accessory vendors, and printing/embroidery units to ensure timely material availability.
• Coordinate with production, cutting, stitching, finishing, QC and dispatch teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Ensure quality standards are maintained as per approved samples.
• Monitor order timelines and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain track of inventory, sampling records, customer feedback, and order status.
• Participate in client meetings, product presentations, and negotiations whenever required.
• Resolve production issues, delays, and quality concerns proactively.
• Maintain daily reporting of order progress and production follow-ups.
• Train and support junior merchandisers or coordinators when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduation or Diploma in Textiles / Fashion / Apparel / Merchandising (preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in uniform manufacturing / garments industry.
• Strong understanding of fabric types, trims, pattern making, embroidery & printing processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong follow-up, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Sheets, and basic documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
