Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, usability, regression, cross-browser, and User Acceptance Testing UAT).
• Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA. clarify requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project managers to understand and
• Verify responsiveness and compatibility of websites across devices and browsers.
• Report on testing status, defect trends, and usability concerns.
• Maintain and update test documentation as per evolving project requirements.
  

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of hands-on experience in manual testing of web or software applications.
• Experience in Agile development environments is an advantage.
  

Technical Skills

• Proficient in manual testing methodologies and QA best practices.
• Skilled in writing and executing test plans and test cases.
  

Experience With

• Bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) o Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Testing for browser compatibility and responsive design
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC
  

Certifications (preferred But Not Mandatory)

• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level
• Certified Software Test Engineer (CSTE)
• Any certification in Agile Testing or QA methodologies
