Job location: Pimpri, Pune

• This position is responsible for Materials Management and forecasting, Inventory Management, Supplier management and sub-contracting, Stores and warehouse management for direct and indirect materials, Logistics of inbound and out bound materials, PPC, and order fulfilment.  This position is responsible to strategically develop and implement value stream-specific material replenishment strategies based on corporate guidelines to provide the right parts in the right quantities at the right time to support plant operations and customers. This position is also responsible for intercompany purchases of child parts and finished goods.
• End to end responsible for SIOP process, develop time to time leading and lagging metrics to meet overall sales and operational goals
• Balances current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities/capacities to ensure completion of customer requirements.
• Manage Overall Inventory levels at various stages to meet forecast targets Raw Material, WIP, FG, GIT. Physical Inventory count, Maintain Cycle count accuracy
• Manage shipping and receiving operations as well as flow of materials to departments: i.e., / control guidelines for stocking levels, safety stock and receipt of materials in support of manufacturing. Develop objectives and goals for all Materials and Logistics personnel in delivering to meet plant goals
• Evaluate effectiveness of existing procedures and/or activities performed within the Materials and Logistics functions and drive continuous improvement. 
• Proficient in SAP in all relevant modules.
• Implement lean manufacturing strategy with Supermarkets and Kanban systems.
• Arranges for the sale of scrap, obsolete, surplus materials, and by-products .
• Manage In-bound and Out-bound logistics, freight cost, distribution cost within the budget and drive cost out projects.
• Manage 3rd party Warehouse.
