Job Description

Job Purpose (Why Job Exists?) This role is critical to provide strong leadership to the plant staff, including managers, engineers, technicians, and operators, develop and communicate the plant's vision, goals, and objectives. This position foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Overall, this position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the chemical plant while driving continuous improvement and maximizing performance Key Result Area Monitor daily operations to ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards Implement and optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions as needed Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies Implement and maintain effective safety programs and procedures Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements Implement quality control measures and systems to monitor and improve product quality Investigate and address any quality issues or customer complaints Develop and manage the plant's budget, including capital expenditures and operating expenses Oversee maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime Coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams to plan and execute equipment upgrades or replacements Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies Competencies Communication Skill Detail orientation / Accuracy / Inspection Skills Innovative thinking Interpersonal relationship Knowledge of Work instruction/Procedure.
