This includes- designing the network (or tower) architecture, technology planning, network planning across multiple layers, build network assets involving concept planning, procurement & overseeing implementation with the objective of designing and implementing optimum network solutions to meet the needs of the customer. This is a tactical role which contributes in defining the direction of the operating plans based on the business strategy, with a significant mid-term impact on business unit overall results. Responsibilities �Manage the enhancement of existing or new development of network architecture and components by understanding needs, evaluating impact, solution designing, overseeing testing, and facilitating roll out of solutions. �Define network maintenance processes and procedures and monitor maintenance activities ensuring effective coordination with relevant teams. �Assess the new requirements in terms of capacity, technology configuration required, performance enhancements, CAPEX required etc. �Design the network (or network tower) architecture, equipment planning and perform technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems. �Liaise with the engineering teams to finalize the technical design. �Introduction of new technologies into the network for new services and (or) better network efficiency. �Lead CAPEX optimization initiatives �Evaluate potential suppliers to implement the project. �Review escalations to support the service assurance during network failure situations. �Define resolution mechanism to prevent recurrence of escalations. �Review and submit Technology strategy papers related to emerging platform technologies. Desired Skill sets �Experience in planning, designing, building, and implementing Network platform and infrastructure projects. �Hands on experience in legacy platform migrations and network optimization projects �Knowledge of new and upcoming network platform technologies
