Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Legal Advisory & Documentation

Provide legal counsel on operational, contractual, and regulatory matters.
Draft, review, and vet
contracts, MoUs, NDAs, service agreements, and lease deeds
.
Manage legal notices, correspondence, and documentation.

Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

Ensure adherence to all
corporate, commercial, labor

and employment

laws
.
Oversee statutory filings under the
Companies Act, 2013
, and other applicable regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and authorities for inspections and submissions.

Contract Management

Implement and maintain an effective
contract lifecycle management system
.
Conduct legal risk assessments prior to finalization of agreements.
Support HR, Finance, Operations, and BD teams in contractual due diligence.

Legal Coordination & Dispute Resolution

Liaise with
external counsels, consultants, and law firms
for litigation and arbitration matters.
Prepare briefs, track case progress, and maintain a
legal MIS
for management updates.

Mergers, Acquisitions & Strategic Transactions

Assist in due diligence, documentation, and post-transaction compliance for
M&A and corporate restructuring
.
Review agreements and coordinate with stakeholders for regulatory approvals and submissions.

Preferred candidate profile

Looking for candidate with min 8 yrs of exp in Legal function and should have done LLB from National Law College.
