Primary Responsibilities


  1. Strategic Planning

  • To be a part of the Strategy team in order to identify, evaluate and implement new lucrative business propositions (new product/ service /market). To be responsible for new product/ service conceptualization
  • To design team goals and ensure the attainment of the same.
  • To ensure development and implementation of Product/Service & Brand related strategies as per objectives agreed with management and navigate strategy from time to time in response to changing internal/ external business context.


  1. Market Planning & Diversification

  • To deploy suitable market research tools to gauge the business landscape and competitor activities, client requirement etc., to gain the competitive edge.
  • Participate in creating a business plan in tandem with leadership team.
  • Communicate the concept and design plan to all levels within the team.
  • Be part of the ‘Project Team’ at pitching stage and endeavour to bring the interaction to a positive closure.


  1. Delivery/Operations


  • Participate and give inputs to operations team when creating project plan. Pre-empt execution bottlenecks on design front & align the appropriate strategy as and when required.
  • Allocate able personnel in a timely manner to support operations team for assessing feasibility.
  • Assist the Project lead in understanding the client’s requirements. Ensure the same is understood accurately by consultants and the designs sent by consultants are in tandem with the brief.
  • To provide design direction and brief to the team of designers working on the project and handholding them throughout the design process.
  • Ensure that all the drawings, plans, views, mock ups, demos etc are received refined and shared with client according to timelines agreed.
  • Mitigate any redesign ideas with client, bring to clients notice and agree the cost and time escalations due to such redesign.
  • To provide inputs for designing and implementing systems, processes and procedures to facilitate smooth functioning of overall operations and enhance operational efficiency.
  • To set up reporting systems for design team.
  • To review client-wise weekly project report to assess adherence to the SLA & efficiency & to take suitable corrective/ preventive steps.
  • To review client-wise design related resource allocation & utilization & take efficiency enhancement measures.



  1. Client Relationship Management

  • To ensure that client requirements are captured, understood, agreed and delivered in a manner which creates value addition proposition and builds positive client perception by engaging in constant expectation setting with client organization at all levels required.
  • To ensure that the client feels involved and engaged throughout the designing and execution process thereby feeling that they are getting what they desire.
  • Connecting to the appropriate authority and making recommendations to a positive outcome.




Environmental Condition

The person in this position may need to travel extensively.
