Skill & Responsibility Detail

Sr. IZWS Scheduler expert

Mandatory Skills

Expertise in IBM Z Workload Scheduler (IZWS) and legacy schedulers like CA7.
Proficiency in JCL and basic mainframe utilities.
Familiarity with Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) and Workload Designer.
Develop and maintain scheduling resources using WAPL (Workload Automation Programming Language).
Strong understanding of job scheduling, dependencies, and resource management.
Ability to interpret and analyze scheduler logs and reports.

Preferred Skills

Experience migrating from other scheduling tools (e.g., CA7, Control-M, TWS) to IZWS.
Exposure to scripting or automation tools used in scheduling environments.
Understanding of workload automation best practices in mainframe environments.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor s degree in computer science or related field.
Experience in IBM Z scheduling systems
