Job Description

Sr. General Manager Operations

Position: Sr. GM - Operations

Req. Experience: 17+ years (incl. minimum 5+ years in a leadership role in operations & process improvement)

Role

Responsibilities:-

The incumbent is responsible for budget planning, which is done in the beginning of the year.
Have to meet the productivity, quality, delivery, safety and morale aspects and PSMS Elements.
Facilitate for training of the newcomers and to create platform for Talent improvement.
Assist top management in providing appropriate information to set stretch targets and achieve the same through innovative methods by launching developmental projects.
Ensure people participation in TQM activities to look for improvement projects which can be taken through TQM platform.
Interacts with cross functional departments for smooth execution of overall plant operational functions.

Skills & Capabilities Required:-

Process Management/ Manpower safety/ Operation planning/ Bulk material handling/ Risk assessment & mitigation/ managing process improvements/ statutory MIS reporting/ Systems orientation -5S,QMS,TQM.
