Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager – Procurement (Electrical & Electronics Industry)

Experience : 10 to 15 years

Preferred Industry

• Railways / Metro Equipment manufacturing Tier-1 / OEM company, Electrical panel manufacturing industry / machinery manufacturing industry/ Railways Equipment manufacturing, Industrial Automation Industry, Control and Switch gear industry.

• Sourcing & Procurement experience in PCB’s and electronics component, Railways Loco panel, Railways Air Conditioning Parts. 

• Primary Skills : Electrical Parts Sourcing, Direct & Indirect Procurement, for panel, connector, couplers and railways equipment manufacturing plant. 

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.

• 12–20 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles, specifically in electrical and bought-out parts, connectors, coupler, cables for panel industry / railways equipment manufacturing company.

• Electrical commodity market awareness and knowledge of supplier data base for electrical commodity pars like high voltage connectors, couplers, copper wires, insulated wires, sensors, terminal blocks, panels & IC’s diodes, transistors, PCB.

• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with a track record of supplier cost optimization for BOM based electrical and electronics parts & components.

• Understanding of electrical components, specifications, and basic technical drawings.

• Experience in procurement for electrical , electronics, panel manufacturing, railways equipment manufacturing sectors.

• Basic Knowledge of local purchase for electrical parts for R&D and trials.

• Coordinating with finance/accounting on matters involving inventory, cost savings and cash flow management.

• Working with suppliers to ensure they have enough capacity to support our demand as well as supply continuity risk management plans.

• Ensuring Supplier Performance in on time delivery, Supplier capacity Assessment
