Position: Senior Estimation Engineer

Experience: 4-5 years
Salary: ₹55,000 - ₹65,000 per month
Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, or related field) & Knowledge of AutoCAD Software

Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation & Analysis:
• Lead the preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects, considering materials, labor, manufacturing processes, and overhead costs, DOM Material , Cost calculation, layout of optimize material.
• Estimated the weight of material, Layout of product, knowledge of formula.
• Analyze technical specifications, engineering drawings, and design documents to prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, columns, and piping spools.
• Evaluate material costs, labor requirements, subcontractor quotes, and overhead costs to ensure project bids are competitive and accurate.
• Bid and Tender Preparation:
• Support the preparation of technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bids, ensuring that estimates meet the client’s specifications and requirements.
• Work with the sales and project management teams to prepare bid submissions, highlighting any technical challenges or deviations from standard scope.
• Vendor & Supplier Coordination:
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes for raw materials, components, and services required for projects.
• Ensure that estimates reflect the latest market prices and evaluate vendor proposals for cost-effectiveness, quality, and delivery timelines.

Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in cost estimation and project costing, particularly in manufacturing, engineering, or similar industries.
• Proficient in estimation software, ERP systems, and MS Excel for cost calculations, analysis, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Good understanding of project management, procurement, and manufacturing processes.

Desired Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer, Cost Estimator, or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in estimating costs for heat exchangers, pressure vessels, storage tanks, or similar equipment is preferred.
• Production Engineer with minimum experience 4-5 years having detail knowledge of generating BOM Of pressure vessel , heat exchanger & good knowledge of AutoCAD.
