Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Engineer - Design - Facade/Window Systems with extensive experience in facades and window system design, coordination, and project execution. The candidate should possess strong technical expertise, advanced design capabilities, and the ability to lead complex facades engineering activities from concept to completion.

This role requires deep understanding of facades materials, systems, engineering standards, and construction methodologies while ensuring compliance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1.⁠ ⁠Design Engineering & Technical Leadership

Lead the detailed design and engineering of facades systems including aluminum, glazing, cladding, and hybrid facades assemblies.

Prepare, review, and approve technical drawings, structural calculations, fabrication details, and installation methodologies.

Analyze architectural drawings, tender documents, and project specifications to determine design feasibility and compliance.

Provide engineering solutions and alternative design options to improve system performance and reduce cost.

2.⁠ ⁠Design Management & Coordination

Manage the complete facades design lifecycle from concept design to construction phase.

Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless facades integration.

Conduct and lead design coordination meetings, workshops, and technical reviews with clients, consultants, and contractors.

3.⁠ ⁠Compliance & Performance Oversight

Ensure compliance with all local and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.

4.⁠ ⁠Quality Assurance & Site Support

Review and approve shop drawings, mock-ups, prototypes, and material samples.

Conduct periodic inspections at fabrication units and project sites to ensure technical accuracy and quality adherence.

Provide resolutions for design-related issues encountered during installation and construction.

Qualification

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent.

Masters degree or facades engineering certification (preferred).

Experience & Skills

Minimum 8-10 years of experience in facades and window system design.

Strong expertise in aluminum windows, glazing, and cladding systems.

Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Excel, Revit (optional) and relevant facades analysis software.

Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

Proven capability in design management, technical leadership, and stakeholder coordination.

Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
