Job Opportunity: Sr. Engineer / Assistant Manager Business

Development (Transmission & Distribution)

Age:
24-30 years.
Qualification:
Minimum B.Tech (EEE); MBA preferred.
Experience: 7-9 years in Transmission & Distribution EPC Business Development & Tendering.

Purpose of the Role

Transmission & Distribution Tendering and Business Development

Key Responsibilities

Lead tendering and business development activities in
Transmission & Distribution EPC projects
.
Expertise in
EHV Transmission Lines, Substations, SCADA, and UG Cable projects
.
Register with consultants, submit company profiles, and present credentials to Govt. & Private utilities.
Conduct site surveys, prepare reports, and customize solutions for clients.
Coordinate with Engineering, PRM, SCM, and Finance teams for tender preparation and submission.
Identify JV partners when required and manage techno-commercial discussions/negotiations.
Prepare MIS reports, tender costing, and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Liaise with customers and cross-functional teams to meet project deliverables.
Manage tender submissions, performance guarantees, and project completion certificates.
Utilize
SAP-SD Module
for SO creation, credit/debit memos, etc.
Drive
market intelligence and competitor analysis
.

Key Interfaces

Internal:
Engineering & Design, Finance & Accounts, PRM, SCM (with 12 reportees).
External:
Vendors, Auditors, Govt. Bodies, Consultants.
Reporting to:
Head Business Development.

Skills:

Technical: Transmission & Distribution EPC, Tendering Process in India.
Soft: MS Office, SAP.

Attitude:
Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong negotiation skills.
