What You'll DoWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Web Producer to oversee the formatting, optimization, implementation, and efficient storage of static digital assets utilized in production for our publishing platform, avalara.com, as well as related digital touchpoints across Marketing.In this role, you will collaborate closely with our Design Production team and Digital Production team, providing support and guidance to internal stakeholders in creating and submitting digital assets for the production process. Working alongside UX Designers and technical leads, you will manage the configuration and implementation of digital assets, including updates and revisions.As the primary point of contact for digital asset management, you will exercise independent judgment under the guidance of the Director, Digital Experience and Platforms Site Operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring consistency across all assets used on the website and other platforms by establishing and enforcing governance for digital asset creation and management. You will also oversee planning, execution, production schedules, and quality assurance to maintain high standards throughout.Acting as a liaison between marketing, strategic stakeholders, product management, and engineering teams, you will integrate various content elements to deliver a cohesive and successful user experience. Additionally, you may engage with third-party technology and provide oversight for work conducted by others, contributing to the strategic direction of the unit without direct personnel management responsibilities.
Job Duties
- Efficiently manage the process of formatting, optimizing, and implementing static digital assets throughout their lifecycle from intake to launch and deprecation.
- Collaborate with digital producers, visual designers, UX designers and technical leads to develop and manage strategies for optimizing governance, management and optimization of digital assets
- Conduct quality assurance to maintain high standards throughout the production process.
- Manage the configuration and implementation of digital assets, including overseeing updates and revisions, as necessary.
- Serve as a liaison among marketing, strategic alliances, product management, and product development to integrate various content types and achieve a consistent user experience.
- Interact with third-party technology vendors and platforms as needed to support online product development and maintenance.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
What You'll Need to be Successful
- Proven experience in web production and content development, with a strong portfolio showcasing technical expertise.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and technologies, including content management systems and digital marketing platforms, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Working experience with Digital Asset Management and Dynamic Media in the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), as the publishing platform we use.
- Professional training in visual design, photography will be helpful
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
