Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Compliance

1.1. Ensure full compliance with IRDAI (Insurance Brokers) Regulations, 2018 and subsequent amendments.

1.2. Monitor adherence to licensing requirements, code of conduct, and reporting obligations.

1.3. Maintain updated knowledge of regulatory changes and communicate implications to management.

1.4. Prepare and submit statutory reports to IRDAI within stipulated timelines (monthly, quarterly, annual).

2. Internal Policies & Procedures

2.1. Develop, update, and enforce internal compliance manuals, SOPs, and checklists.

2.2. Conduct compliance risk assessments for business processes.

2.3. Ensure that sales practices follow fair market conduct guidelines and avoid mis-selling.

3. Training & Awareness

3.1. Conduct compliance training sessions for employees, sales staff, and distribution partners.

3.2. Guide teams on documentation standards, KYC norms, and data privacy requirements.

3.3. Promote a culture of ethical business conduct.

4. Monitoring & Audit

4.1. Monitor client documentation, proposal forms, and policy issuance for compliance accuracy.

4.2. Liaise with internal and external auditors during inspections.

4.3. Maintain proper records for all compliance-related matters for audit readiness.

5. Liaison with IRDAI & Authorities

5.1. Serve as the official point of contact with the IRDAI for compliance matters.

5.2. Coordinate for inspections, audits, and regulatory correspondence.

5.3. Respond to regulatory queries and notices in a timely and accurate manner.

6. Reporting & Documentation

6.1. Maintain compliance registers (KYC, complaints, training attendance, audit observations).

6.2. Submit periodic compliance reports to the Principal Officer and Board of Directors.

6.3. Report significant compliance breaches or potential risks immediately to management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of IRDAI regulations, insurance broking laws, and corporate governance norms.

Analytical skills to identify compliance gaps and propose corrective actions.

Excellent communication and report writing abilities.

Integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in MS Office, regulatory portals, and compliance management tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
